This shop project is in Maddox Street, off of Bond Street. A large proportion of the limited money available was spent moving the basement staircase from just inside the front window to the rear of the premises. Using a solid beech floor and beech veneered units with the judicious use of large mirrors and low voltage lighting we were able to afford air conditioning which we considered essential.
