This stand was built in Hall 5 at the Metropole, Brighton. The hall is notorious for its uneven floor, irregular shape and ceiling heights that vary from 2-8 metres. The brief was to design a stand that would show the client's studio equipment in a way that enabled the visitor to get hands-on experience. A large circulation space around the information desk helped control the flow of visitors and gave a central focus point. Lighting levels had to be carefully controlled and all the captions were back lit. Outside the hall we were able to construct a wall 8 metres high visible from both floors of the main exhibition area.
